The Walking Dead is een Amerikaanse horrorserie van de zender AMC. De serie ging in première op 31 oktober 2010.
The Walking Dead vertelt het verhaal van de nasleep van een zombie apocalyps en volgt een kleine groep overlevenden dat reist door de Verenigde Staten opzoek naar een nieuw thuis, weg van de hordes zombies. De groep wordt geleid door Rick Grimes, die een politieagent was in de oude wereld. Aangezien de situatie alleen maar erger wordt, wordt het er niet beter op in de groep en doen ze er alles aan om te overleven.

wow what a fantastic series, I started the pilot yesterday I absolutely loved it. I only hope that it will be revealed how it is possible that suddenly everyone is dead and then suddenly becomes zombies. In the resident evil series this is stated very clearly and also in of the dead series it is also clearly revealed there. So I hope it will be revealed here as well I'm curious.

Indeed a very surprising series where the quality is very high. The zombies look very convincing. Now I have seen six parts and am waiting for the sequel. Can they just keep the tension there? Constantly being chased by zombies once the tension ends

Also very surprising series for me where I always watched Resident Evil and Zombie film more often that at the end gate door opened or save but live zombie long. Now the series is finally so exciting that every episode is surprising what happened and I hope to continue until season 10 may as long as I remain exciting.

In the beginning I really didn't think it was worth following further. Found it very amateurish. Now I have to find the last episode of season 1 and I think it is a really good series. The 'walkers' aka zombies are good made.

Well, I know the series is popular.. and especially the first few episodes I was also captivated by the intense atmosphere, the perfectly created "walkers" and the tension. But now that I've seen season two in its entirety, I'm giving up. I have to "sit out" too many soap-like scenes before something happens again. Unfortunate!
