The Walking Dead is een Amerikaanse horrorserie van de zender AMC. De serie ging in première op 31 oktober 2010.
The Walking Dead vertelt het verhaal van de nasleep van een zombie apocalyps en volgt een kleine groep overlevenden dat reist door de Verenigde Staten opzoek naar een nieuw thuis, weg van de hordes zombies. De groep wordt geleid door Rick Grimes, die een politieagent was in de oude wereld. Aangezien de situatie alleen maar erger wordt, wordt het er niet beter op in de groep en doen ze er alles aan om te overleven.

The Walking Dead is based on a series of comic books. It currently has 134 issues, and a new issue is published every month. Story-wise, the TV series is now around issue 67. If the series continues at the same pace as the past seasons, I suspect they'll be around season 9 or 10 among the storylines that now appear in comic books.

One of the best series I have ever seen in terms of zombies genre from start to finish super good and exciting and addictive ... Good cast The characters also worked out very well I have been a big fan of TWD from day 1 ... ....

Season six was a season of ups and downs. The opening was quite good, and was followed by some very strong episodes: Unfortunately, the quality quickly dropped, ending in a dull and unsatisfying mid-season finale. The premiere was then good. New storylines were introduced and episode after episode the series remained strong. Unfortunately, episodes 14 and 15 were not. Then came the final. And the cliffhanger. On to season seven. Hope we will find out soon.

Totally Hooked .. Can't wait (will have to unfortunately) for season 7. Am now watching all sneak previews, spoilers & comics, with possibly. hints; who falls victim to Negan's bizarre, deadly bat: Lucille. (And somehow I don't want to know, because I probably won't appreciate the denouement!). .. another 2 months. And then ..
