Set in Tokyo, the series is based on the true story of Jake Adelstein, a journalist who becomes increasingly entangled in the world of the Yakuza. Although the series is generally slow and there is relatively little action, I enjoyed this series, which is partly due to the Japanese atmosphere of the 90s and the presence of the Yakuza. I am also looking forward to season 2.
