To be honest, this series starts a bit slower than expected, but in seasons 2 and 3 it really is a lot more exciting and fun to watch. If you compare it with the walking dead, I think the walking dead starts really cool, but in the middle of the series it gets a bit too monotonous to watch. While van Helsing turns it around. Van Helsing gives more time to go deeper into the characters at the beginning. In the end, van Helsing also has a better story, with new actors as the story progresses, but you don't get the feeling like with the walking dead that they are playing guest roles. And that's why I ultimately think van Helsing is better than the walking dead. In addition, a Shout-out to Jonathan Scarfe for his role as Axel Miller!

I have just seen the 'leaked' pilot, personally I am not really excited yet. However, give it a chance, but I don't have a 'wow' feeling. Everything took place in one building. The tension is not really there yet. But wait and see if the second episode offers more and then decide whether we will see it again.

I found the first few eps a bit boring and I had to make a lot of income, but now that I am already halfway through the 2nd season I have to reconsider my opinion :) Is now completely in it and many times more interesting than, for example, the last 4 seasons of the Wallking Dead ... :)

If Netflix puts it on as soon as possible, it takes 7 days, but usually that is not the case.

That is due to the deal that Netflix has with SyFy. Supergirl S03E01 aired in the US tonight and is already on Netflix.

You absolutely cannot put these two series next to each other. Van Helsing is really much stronger, both in terms of story and characters. As for the comment above, they certainly do not stay in one building and it is an exciting evening hour that you have to look at with a SF wink. If you expect a strong realistic series, you have wrong expectations.

only has 0 connection with Van Helsing. Oh wait, her name is Vanessa, wow how well thought out: p No, Syfy better stop with all those low budget, just not series. Some are nice to have a look in between when you are really bored, but nothing more and they should have given this series a different title, because in terms of story it really has nothing to do with Van Helsing.

I love the vampire series, I also came across this series on Netflix, and I started watching it had to get into the story, but find it interesting. Now working on episode 2 how it started. , it continues to fascinate me so far.

Nice first season. Although they do take it very easy with the storyline. This can make it seem boring
