Titled Wednesday, the coming-of-age comedy, written by Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar and to be directed by Burton, is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. That’s where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.

A series with humour, action and fantasy based on The Adamms family in which the hand of director Tim Burton can certainly be seen. This tastes like even more, looking forward to a second season. In my opinion, this will be a hit on Netflix.

I've now also watched the second season of Wednesday, and I have to say I really enjoyed it again. It remains a series with a unique atmosphere that really captivates me. However, I did notice a clear difference from the first season. I found it a bit more lighthearted and playful, which perhaps made it easier to watch.
Season 2 felt bigger and more ambitious to me. There were more characters and storylines, the overall tone was darker, and the roles of the entire Addams family were emphasized more. That gave the season more depth and variety.
Despite that difference, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The combination of humor, dark atmosphere, and Jenna Ortega's strong performance kept me watching. It was another really enjoyable season for me, just in a different way than the first.

What a wonderful start to the second season! A whopping four episodes of around 50 minutes each are available right away. It's great to see a bit more of the story right away. And what a shame there are only four :-)
