Hmm, the first two episodes had the pace, style (and music) of the 'mature' Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes films. After that, I felt it really sagged; the story became long-winded, there was a lot of 'country hopping', the filming style etc. changed significantly. And Sherlock himself was nowhere near the distinctiveness of a Benedict Cumberbatch or a Robert Downey Junior. Just an upper-class English young man. But above all, a weak script, I think. I found it somewhat disappointing.
