Have now seen 6 episodes but now think it will be a whole BLM and SJW series. Everything is the fault of the white man. And we are not even talking about the acting talents. Black Lightning is so not a super hero. He is only concerned with his own ego, does not listen to anyone and therefore almost kills his own daughter. Acted very stiffly looks like a robot. The series is not very fast.

Black lightning is a fantastic new series !! It's a lot like Luke Cage and the rawness of that series. But black lightning goes one step further by addressing today's problems. Such as discrimination by the police. The official soundtrack / theme of the series is also very strong. Named for the "Black LightningI" series and created by Godholly. Really good I !! Can only say 1 thing! Thank god for Black lightning !!!!

I enjoy the series myself, but what several people say is correct. It looks like a series written for white against black and the series does not shy away from highlighting every small negative point. Only when Anissa discovers her super powers does the series really get good. Before that it is all still a bit weak. In any case, I don't really understand why writers here already suppress the black man and write it pathetically, everything is the white man's fault. In some parts of the series this goes very far, as if the writer wants to tell something about his own life or something? nevertheless I watched seasons 1 and 2 (which is still running) on Netflix at a rapid pace.

When will Black Lightning season 3 be on Netflix? Fortunately, it was announced at the end of January 2019 that Black Lightning has been renewed for a third season. DC's superhero series typically start in October. This is also the case with season 3 with October 21. A day later, the episode is then expected on Netflix. Thanks to a collaboration between both parties, we can also watch the new episode in the Netherlands very quickly after the release of a new episode in America.

Only BL season 3 episode 1 is not yet on Netflix and they have also not announced a date as they have done with Supergirl, Flash and Arrow.

Black Lightning is my favorite superhero series. Despite having watched the Arrowverse series before. The tone difference is different. There are those who stop watching this wonderful series because it uses more realistic storylines. Otherwise interpreted. It's not like, The Flash (2014), Supergirl or DC's Legends of Tomorrow. So what I'm saying is it's more like Arrow. The storylines are realistic from the start. Behlave season 4. But that season is Meh. All first seasons of all types of series start slowly. Superhero or no superhero. Because we are introduced to main cast members of a series. From season 2 onwards, the pace is faster because we know who has the lead roles. And with that, the actors and actresses have found their groove. In Season 1 of Black Lightning, the Pierce family is introduced to Jefferson (Cress Williams), Jennifer (China Anne McClain, ANT Farm), Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Lyn Stewart (Christine Adams). Jefferson AKA Black Lightning hung his suit for nine years so he could spend more time with his family. In this season, his only two daughters discover that they have also inherited powers. One agreed and the other did not, but after some time she begins to accept it. The villain of the series is quite interesting. I personally loved that they didn't catch the villain right away in season one. In conclusion, I want to say that despite the superhero stuff in the series, Black Lightning is the best superhero series because the writers also take in the day-to-day problems of the modern world we now live in in the series.

Stopped with this series. All gets very political and the acting remains very mediocre. Especially that albino 'actor' can't do anything about it. Don't know what the TheCW is doing, but Supergirl is already very much in the political direction. I don't watch superhero series for that.
