Game of Thrones is een HBO-serie gebaseerd op de fantasyboeken 'Een Lied van IJs en Vuur' van George R. R. Martin. Het gaat over een machtsstrijd om de ijzeren troon tussen zeven verschillende adellijke families op het fictieve continent Westeros. Robert Baratheon is koning van Westeros, maar al snel ontdekt hij dat zijn troon zeer gewild is onder de adellijke families. Om het allemaal nog erger te maken staat er in het Noorden een oud kwaad op, klaar om het verscheurde Westeros binnen te vallen.

What a wonderful relief episode 9 was by the way. I think it was the first time that it was only about 1 storyline and that the time was taken to show this. I can do that more often!

A fantasy series that regularly goes in a direction that you do not expect. Have you just been attached to a certain character and then ... Also very explicitly portrayed. Not for the faint-hearted and also less suitable for people who want soap-like conditions. But ... Very exciting and you will be drawn into the harsh world of Game of Thrones

Although I was extremely enthusiastic and experienced many goosebump moments during the series, I was deeply disappointed in the ending. People always hope for a happy ending and this makes them happy. Why do series makers want it differently?! What could have ended so beautifully was crushed, together with the burning of King's landing. Just like my good feeling...

Enjoyed 3 more nights from season 1 to 6 and then season 7 starts, see what this will bring us again. Episode # 71: "Dragonstone" Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.

The most amazing series ever made. If you don't understand the storyline, I would advise you to read the books. There is a really strong story in it. It's just a pity that the books don't really get along ..
