Game of Thrones is een HBO-serie gebaseerd op de fantasyboeken 'Een Lied van IJs en Vuur' van George R. R. Martin. Het gaat over een machtsstrijd om de ijzeren troon tussen zeven verschillende adellijke families op het fictieve continent Westeros. Robert Baratheon is koning van Westeros, maar al snel ontdekt hij dat zijn troon zeer gewild is onder de adellijke families. Om het allemaal nog erger te maken staat er in het Noorden een oud kwaad op, klaar om het verscheurde Westeros binnen te vallen.

The first season has absolutely no boredom. Fortunately, a lot remains "unclear" so that the series becomes more exciting. Hoping for the arrival of season 2!

A great series. Season 2 was a bit of a let down for me, but so has book 2 so far, so that's not very surprising. Hopefully season 3 will be just fine. The Dothraki are just right in my opinion. It's a horde that moves from town to town to loot and I think the primitive is very much in line with that. I think the ages are a bit different. Sansa is in the books 13, Arya 11, Daenerys 14. Sansa and Arya do indeed appear in the series as 13 and 11, but Daenerys definitely doesn't seem 14.

Often even to very old men, who do not even come close in age. And I do understand that in America it is very difficult to portray a girl of 14 in this way, but then hire an actress of 17 or 18. The actress who plays Daenerys is 25!

One of the few series that I really recommend for all people. The genre is different, the books are also good, and you remain fascinated to watch and read. Even people who don't like the Genre can easily watch this series
