CBS orders two dramas and a comedy

CBS has been renewing - or cancelling - a lot of series as of late. Next to that, the network has ordered three new series.
CBS has ordered Clarice, The Equalizer and B Positive for the upcoming tv season 2020-2021. The three series will join the many renewed series during the next season. It is not yet known when the three series, as mentioned earlier, will premiere.

Earlier, it was revealed that CBS was working on a series called Clarice, which serves as a sequel to the movie The Silence of the Lambs. Rebecca Breeds (Pretty Little Liars) will portray FBI agent Clarice Starling, who will return to the field. The series takes place a year after the events that happened in Silence of the Lambs. Down below, you can watch the trailer for the classic movie.

The network has also ordered The Equalizer. Last January, it was announced that the network had ordered a pilot episode. The Equalizer, which will have Queen Latifah in the lead role, will serve as a reboot of the series with the same name from the eighties and the movie from 2014.

The pilot for B Positive was also ordered last January. The series has been created and written by Marco Pennette (Desperate Housewives) and tells the tale of the just divorced father Drew, who is trying to find a kidney donor. He is at the end of his road when he meets Gina, who is someone he knows from his childhood. She voluntarily donates her kidney. Together they form an unlikely pair.
