Shameless renewed for 11th and final season at Showtime

Shameless (US) is an American dramedy from the Showtime channel. At the moment, the tenth season is airing.

Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) is the proud father of six smart and independent children who would probably have been better off without him. If Frank is not spending the money they have on drinking, he is lying unconscious on the ground. But the children have found their way to grow up without him. The Gallaghers do not show a shred of respect, are nevertheless very engaging, extremely resilient and have no shame whatsoever.

During the TCA winter tour, it was announced that Shameless (US) will have another eleventh season, which will serve as the final season of the highly acclaimed series. Gary Levine, President of Entertainment at Showtime Networks, said: ‘Shameless have brought Showtime viewers more laughs and tears and pure enjoyment than any program in our history,” said Levine. “While we are sad to bid the Gallaghers farewell, we couldn’t be more confident in the ability of showrunner John Wells, his writing team and this great cast to bring our series to its appropriately ‘Shameless conclusion.”
