The Dinosaurs

Unlike last year's Prehistoric Planet, this series didn't dedicate time to scientific substantiation. And given what I consider the enormous amount of speculation, that could have really improved the series. Here too, I saw hints of anthropomorphism, but thankfully less so than in PP.

The series looks fantastic, but I seriously doubt the science behind the content. For example, in the first two episodes they keep talking about reptiles and how they're being supplanted by dinosaurs. But dinosaurs are reptiles too! That's how I've always learned it, at least. If there are different insights now, fine, but explain them. And that doesn't happen.

It's a visually beautiful series, and Morgan Freeman can tell it beautifully, but it doesn't give me a good idea of which dinosaurs lived where and when, which dinosaurs are related to each other, and how that evolved.
I would therefore have liked to see them stay in one era a bit longer and tell more about the different dinosaurs, rather than just one or two and then quickly move on.

The series would definitely have benefited from more episodes.
