The Magicians (2016) is an American fantasy series which is aired on Syfy. The series premiered on 25 January 2016.

The series centers on Quentin, a brilliant grad student chosen to attend Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York university specializing in magic. He and his 20-something friends soon discover that the magical fantasy world they read about as children is all too real – and poses grave danger to humanity.

After struggling through Season 1, I'll just wait for it to appear on Netflix. I think I have trouble with those pauses in between waiting for the next episode and can therefore not follow the story properly. I didn't watch it subtitled but I'll do that ... nice binging ... maybe it helps ...

I really like this kind of series! It's a little bit of everything, at least the things I like;). Excitement, mystery, magic and something that a series should always contain. You want to know right away how things will go. Can't wait for the next episode ...
