The Walking Dead vertelt het verhaal van de nasleep van een zombie apocalyps en volgt een kleine groep overlevenden dat reist door de Verenigde Staten opzoek naar een nieuw thuis, weg van de hordes zombies. De groep wordt geleid door Rick Grimes, die een politieagent was in de oude wereld. Aangezien de situatie alleen maar erger wordt, wordt het er niet beter op in de groep en doen ze er alles aan om te overleven.

Great series, but some character descriptions that take up an entire episode do not have to be from me personally. After an exciting episode that leaves you on the edge of your seat, people quickly lose track when you look forward to the sequel after a week of waiting and then suddenly see that you have another week to go because there is extensive analysis. follows from a person. Not really my thing, but otherwise the tension is built up well in the series and the effects and make up of the actors are done very well. This is certainly not a second rank series, but well developed. I keep watching with pleasure despite the lesser episodes that in my opinion are only in between to stretch the series and are quite sleep-inducing, however, as said: character analysis is not really my thing, especially if it has to take an hour nothing but praise for this series.

I once won season three with a competition on the site of 'shocking news'. It didn't seem like anything to me. Only watched one episode anyway. Since then I have been completely addicted. Bought Season 1 and Season 2. And later also Season 4 (after watching 1,2 and 3 in a row. Going to watch on Fox from season 5. And bought the DVD box at the end of each season.

Season 9, well ... Daryl and Maggie are great, of course, but what's the matter with Rick and Michonne? They never learn now? Troublemakers immediately put a bullet in the head, please! It is so very annoying to see the same types popping up all the time who mess things up and then don't get eliminated. So that they can screw up even more, etc ... I understand that the viewers no longer accept this and that the fans are dropping out in large numbers. Regrettable.
