The Walking Dead vertelt het verhaal van de nasleep van een zombie apocalyps en volgt een kleine groep overlevenden dat reist door de Verenigde Staten opzoek naar een nieuw thuis, weg van de hordes zombies. De groep wordt geleid door Rick Grimes, die een politieagent was in de oude wereld. Aangezien de situatie alleen maar erger wordt, wordt het er niet beter op in de groep en doen ze er alles aan om te overleven.

Because of the first six seasons, I think TWD is one of the ten best series I ever saw. Development is the keyword, of storylines and of characters. And very, very good actors.

A wonderful series that for me falls in the line of Prison Break and Dexter. The last broadcast of this season was indeed nothing special and had a very open ending. One more season and that might be a good thing otherwise it will be a repeat.

The new season is really too bad so far (except for the episode around Morgan). There is a lot going on (as in, a lot of talking and hero-talk and look-me-a-great-creature), but also really nothing at all (as in 0 action). I flushed the last episode, maybe 3 action scenes of less than 5 minutes and for the rest only conversations about how guilty someone feels, or how we should be there for each other and how Rick is the hero again. blah blah ... Such a shame this. It was really done after 3-4 seasons. And then where will there really be another season? I would say watch the first 4 and close it. Unfortunately I am someone who always remains curious about who will die next, etc., but secretly I also think that I can spend my time better. Conclusion: the first 4 seasons, great! Definitely worthy of the figure on IMDB. The rest: skip, or just don't expect too much.

Am I the only one who is annoyed by the new bad gay .. whistling annoying pipo, with that bat with barbed wire .. series started very strong, gets tougher with the seasons and has now dropped to a dubious level .. ymmr

Disagree with you. I think Negan takes TWD to the next level. (The bad guy is always the most fun to watch). Just what we needed again after The Govenor.
