Unfortunately, the series is getting tougher. It has been fascinating less and less for a few seasons now. Still good drama and good acting, but soooo slow ... sigh. And then suddenly another cliffhanger at the end of a series, a strong opening of a new series and then another 4-5 episodes "so boring" that I am busy with other things in the meantime. When something happens, I look (sometimes) fascinated. The first seasons the series had a 9 with me, adjusted a number of times and now a 6. That is quite shocking. I may end this series altogether.

I just started watching this series. Within 1 day I had already finished 1½ seasons, I was immediately sucked into it. The acting is perfect especially the crying. In almost every episode (which I have watched so far) every time there is a WTF moment that makes you look with your mouth open again.

Crazy, I find it strange that 991 million viewers are registered in America for season 8 episode 1, namely there are more than 300 million living in that country and my reaction to this beautiful series is not posted! This one?

Although I am not a fan of the Zombie genre, I do think it is a fun watchable series, which lasts a very long time and has become a bit tired in the meantime. Each time they encounter a new group of enemies, which continues for another season or so of fighting. It's a shame that they don't really go into the origins of the zombie virus, but after so many seasons they are too late with that because there is virtually no technology anymore. Which mutation is it from Corona? ;). All joking aside, they could increase the tension again if, for example, they found an extraterrestrial cause of the virus. Because of the Zombie component it is in fact already SF. This could be material for new seasons. But since the series seems to be based on the books in quite a lot of detail, I don't think that will happen (I haven't read the books).
