Under the Dome is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie van de zender CBS. De serie ging in première op 24 juni 2013.
Under the Dome is gebaseerd op de gelijknamige bestseller van Stephen King. Het verhaal gaat over een klein stadje in New England die op onverklaarbare wijze is afgesloten van de rest van de wereld door een enorme transparante koepel. Inwoners van de stad proberen te overleven in de verslechterde post-apocalyptische omstandigheden en zoeken naar antwoorden op de vraag wat deze barriere is, waar het vandaan kwam en hoe ze de kunnen laten verdwijnen.

Didn't think the first season was that strong, but after the first two episodes of season two I officially gave up hope. Really liked the book, but the series really sucked.

After season 1 and 2 I was very curious about season. We have now been able to admire episode 8. But what is the third season disappointing. What a strange turn under the dome. No further development of seasons 1 and 2 but a completely new, hazy, poorly explained storyline. I watch season 3 and hope that Under the Dome will choose eggs for its money and stop broadcasting, but that will have to be milked further

The pilot wasn't nearly as spectacular as I expected.. It all seems a bit simple.. But maybe that will get even better later in the season

I really enjoyed the first episode, special effects could have been better, but a strong start to the new season, I will definitely continue to follow this series, an 8 for the opening.
