Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist cancelled after its second season

NBC has decided to cancel Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. The series won't make the move to Peacock either. There isn't going to be a third season of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. At least, not at NBC or Peacock, the streaming service of the network. The series is currently being offered to other networks and streaming services. Whether or not it'll be continued isn't known at the moment.

The final episode of the second season aired nearly a month ago. Suddenly, it turns out that this was also the final episode of the series. The musical dramedy premiered in January 2020. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist revolves around a very clever computer coder, who suddenly hears the deepest wishes and desires of those around her through songs. At first, she wonders if she's mentally stable, but soon she realizes that this unwanted curse can actually be a great gift.
