Agatha Christie's Poirot is een Britse detectiveserie van de zender ITV1. De serie ging in première op 8 januari 1989.
Als de Duitsers in 1914 België binnenvallen krijgt de burgerbevolking het hard te verduren. Veel Belgische burgers vluchten naar het neutrale Nederland of naar Engeland. Een van hen is Hercule Poirot, een oud-politieman. Poirot wordt liefderijk opgevangen in Styles St. Mary in Engeland en ontwikkelt een affectie voor zijn nieuwe vaderland. Na de oorlog vestigt hij zich als privédetective in Londen, in een flat in Whitehaven Mansions. Hij werkt samen met de voormalige Britse legerofficier Captain Arthur Hastings en zijn secretaresse Miss Lemon. Als Hastings na een aantal jaren trouwt en emigreert naar Argentinië, trekt Poirot zich terug op het platteland. Hij blijft echter betrokken bij het oplossen van misdaden en na een tijdje keert hij terug naar Londen en Whitehaven Mansions. In plaats van Miss Lemon krijgt hij nu steun van George, zijn bediende.

The wait for season 13 is a long one, I am a huge fan and have the whole collection complete except season 13!! in which Hercule dies. Does anyone know when this will be released on DVD?

x-on: Nynke Postma 313: De Zaak Styles is the first episode of season 3. The first 3 seasons are published by Memphis Belle. For some unexplained reason they didn't record this episode. It is therefore not published with Dutch subtitles. I do have it myself. Downloaded it from the internet, translated it myself, put the subtitles underneath and burned it to DVD.

Good news for all Poirot fans: new DVD boxes have been released with the digitally remastered first seasons. The episodes look really good! And not unimportantly: season 3 is now complete, so with the episode that was missing from the earlier DVD (The Mysterious Affair at Styles).

It's time ! Finally Poirot Season 13 is released on DVD with Dutch subtitles. Release date May 19. Unfortunately it is with many Dutch DVDs that there are no extras that are on the English, such as a documentary. Price 20, which is lower than when season 12 came out, which is good news.

We are eagerly waiting for season 13 when we have everything complete. Can anyone tell me how many Agatha Christie quintuplets there are. We also try to get it complete but can't find anywhere how many parts there are, we now have 23. We love Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot and of course Tommy & Tuppence.
