And it doesn't matter which category. Tastes just differ and that's also the case with electing the best series of 2018; there will always be some people who don't agree with who wins and/or gets nominated.
What is one person's loss is another person's gain, because Game of Thrones is not a contender this year. Series like La Casa de Papel, Line of Duty and Peaky Blinders we will probably see again next year on this list. This year it was quite difficult, but you probably hear that every year.
So I won't waste too many more words on this, so see below for the alphabetical list of series of which the writers and you as viewers thought should belong in the top ten. This year we also asked MySeries members to nominate series. These nominations have also been considered for the final list. If you are not happy with this list, there is always the opportunity to make use of the wild card. So it will be your choice who wins.
The Americans

Better Call Saul

Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spin-off, gets only better and better with each season, according to many. The fourth season was broadcast from August until October 2018. Bodyguard

Bodyguard was according to many the surprise of 2018. The BBC One series is a thriller about David Budd, a war veteran who starts working as a Protection Officer for the Home Secretary Julia Montague. The Bridge (2011)

The Bridge (2011), which is also known as Bron|Broen, is the much-praised Swedish-Danish series which had its final episode on 18 February 2018. The crime series tells the story of the Swede Saga Noren and the cooperation between the Danish and Swedish police.
The Handmaid's Tale

The much-anticipated second season of The Handmaid's Tale started on Hulu on 25 April 2018. The sci-fi drama series takes place in a future where the Republic of Gilead replaced the United States of America. The viewer can follow the life of June Osborne and her fight for freedom.
Killing Eve

Killing Eve, the BBC America series about a dangerous cat-and-mouse game between a psychotic assassin and the MI5 officer Eve. The crime thriller premiered on 8 April 2018 and received a second season one day before it actually started.
Outlander

Outlander is the much-praised historical drama series from Starz. The fourth season started on 4 November 2018. Outlander tells the story of Claire who, against her will, travels through time, from 1945 to 1743. The series has by now been renewed with a fifth and a sixth season. Ray Donovan

The Showtime series Ray Donovan revolves around the fixer Ray Donovan who can fix anybody, except himself and his family. The sixth season of the drama series started in October 2018. Here you can find the reviews of previous seasons.
This Is Us

This Is Us, the third season of the NBC drama series about people who cross each other's paths and turn out to be connected in surprising ways, is on air now. The ratings remain high and so is its popularity on MySeries.
Westworld

Westworld is the HBO sci-fi series of which the second season was a long time coming. But on 22 April 2018 it was finally here; the series based on the film of the same name from the 1970s finally started. In the second season the viewer could witness how the revolution of the androids continued. You can find the reviews for Westworld here.
