The Walking Dead vertelt het verhaal van de nasleep van een zombie apocalyps en volgt een kleine groep overlevenden dat reist door de Verenigde Staten opzoek naar een nieuw thuis, weg van de hordes zombies. De groep wordt geleid door Rick Grimes, die een politieagent was in de oude wereld. Aangezien de situatie alleen maar erger wordt, wordt het er niet beter op in de groep en doen ze er alles aan om te overleven.

I'm not a fan of the zombie genre at all. Initially had no interest in this series. Until a lot of people around me recommended "The Walking Dead". And I have no regrets. Addictive good series Not only zombie bite, but also the characters are well developed. Divide tensions, understanding within the group. Drama, but also action and pure horror here and there. Great series!

let's hope that after season 8 it is finally finished .... Have you seen it now, always the same thing .. Look at it purely because I think it is a shame to quit a series after 7 seasons, but I have to do my best do to stay awake during an episode. Luckily the ratings drop every season, so hopefully the end is in sight .. :) Bring on the thumbs down, fanboys;)

exactly my thought .. really gets worse and duller with the episode :( have been watching season 1,2,3 and the bit of 4 of Z Nation in less than 2 weeks ... find more about that personally. / mission ... with some outings of course .. but the main line is a set goal. From season 3 onwards, TWD really starts to repeat itself .. I was hoping for a better storyline with Negan, but that too goes on and on .. And indeed, Watched so many seasons, a shame to give up .. but is thinking hard about it now!

I have been calling this for 3 seasons now. Where I occasionally get the feeling that things are going to get better, such as with the appointment of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, and Rosita who was often seen last season, they know how to mess up again .. That our favorite Daryl saying less than 3 full sentences in the past 3 seasons irritates me the most. You're not going to portray the favorite any less ... Come on .. Anyway, less Carl is always good: P There really isn't a character that can fascinate me anymore. Morgan a little bit, but the direction the character is heading in doesn't interest me enough. I want less useless characters and more characters that add to the story. So less Jesus, Tara and Aaron (yes, I had to look up his name), and more Daryl and Michonne. But especially Daryl!

Yes that Carl should have died 9 seasons ago: P I have idd the same, I found that old group with Dale, Andrea (especially Andrea) and Hershel and all that. The quality has deteriorated sooooo idd. They should never have fired Frank Darabont either.

Completely agree, they no longer really put any effort into the series. You can hardly call it acting, scenarios are quickly put together and show all kinds of flaws, I am therefore more and more annoyed by this one. Negan's soldiers act like stupid geese who, without any strategy, keep firing automatic rifles that apparently never need to be reloaded. Rick dodges 50 cal's like it's nothing. Maybe I didn't pay attention to this before, it must be a result of the silly storylines that they now stick my eyes out, what remains of this series is one big milk factory. But for some obscure reason I keep watching. grmbbl

We are talking about a TV show here .. and the makeup effects here are often better than most Zombie movies! The story is gripping (even for Zombie haters!!) Now on Season 4...and still Entertaining!!!

The ninth season is really a big step in the right direction so far. It is absolutely not perfect, but it is something to look forward to again. Especially the whisperer storyline that is now being set up shows a lot of potential.

If, like me, you don't immediately get super hyper from the zombie genre, you can still watch this one. If you get really horny with half-decayed bodies dragging themselves along moaning, then you'll probably find The Walking Dead to be K3 and Samson & Gert. Nevertheless, with a good bag of Cheese Onion and an ice-cold Dr. Pepper is fine for a day ahead. Or Bolognese, if you like that better.

Unfortunately, the series is getting tougher. It has been fascinating less and less for a few seasons now. Still good drama and good acting, but soooo slow ... sigh. And then suddenly another cliffhanger at the end of a series, a strong opening of a new series and then another 4-5 episodes "so boring" that I am busy with other things in the meantime. When something happens, I look (sometimes) fascinated. The first seasons the series had a 9 with me, adjusted a number of times and now a 6. That is quite shocking. I may end this series altogether.
