As season one is halfway Showtime announced that there will be a second season of the critically-acclaimed horror drama series. The second season will get two more episodes, that means that it will haven 10 episodes. The production will again take place in Dublin, Ireland and the expectation is that airing will begin sometime in 2015.
‘Penny Dreadful’ is now Showtime’s number one series with an average of 5 million viewers per week. And it is not only a hit America. In the United Kingdom ‘Penny Dreadful’ was the second biggest program on Pay TV.
Some of the most scary and famous characters have surfaced in ‘Penny Dreadful’, like Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and some iconic characters from Bram Stoker's Dracula.
